Monday: Bank of Japan’s Governor, Kuroda, is scheduled to speak in Tokyo. January Factory Orders data will see light in Germany. In Italy, January’s Producer Price Index will see light.

Tuesday: Final estimates for the fourth quarter’s Gross Domestic Product will see light in Japan. At this point, duly noted, analysts aren’t expecting very large revisions. January’s Balance of Payments data will also see light in Japan. January’s Industrial Production data will be released in Germany. For the Eurozone, the preliminary (second) estimate for GDP in Q4 will see light.

Wednesday: Industrial Production data for January will be released in the U.K. The Bank of Canada will issue a rate decision. In the U.S., the weekly MBA Mortgage Applications will see light, followed by January’s Wholesale Inventories.

Thursday: February’s Producer Price Index will be released in Japan. In China, both February’s Producer Price Index as well as the Consumer Price Index will see light. January’s Industrial Production data is due in France. In Spain, January’s Retail Sales data will be released. February’s CPI is due in Greece. The European Central Bank is scheduled to make a rate announcement, with analysts expecting the deposit rate to be pushed further into negative territory, to -0.4%. The subsequent press conference by Draghi is also prone to draw some attention. In Russia, Gold and Forex Reserves data will see light. The weekly Initial Jobless Claims is scheduled for release in the U.S.

Friday: The final estimate for February’s CPI will be released in Germany and Spain. In the U.K., January’s Trade Balance data will see light.
