When it comes to the market that is diabetes — it affects some 30 million Americans, more than 9% of the population, according to the CDC and rates of those diagnosed with diabetes rises with age, to 25% of those 65 and older — we are seeing a number of new products and services that incorporate new or existing technologies to offer an easier consumer experience and make managing diabetes far easier and less painful than what it once was.
