Monday: April’s Producer Price Index will be released in Japan. In the U.S., May’s Empire Manufacturing Index will see light. In Russia, Advance Q1 Gross Domestic Product data will see light, with analysts expecting a 2% contraction vs. -3.8% in the previous quarter.

Tuesday: The final March Industrial Production estimate will be released in Japan. In the U.K., April’s Consumer Price Index will see light, with the analyst consensus expecting annual inflation to remain stable at 0.5%. April Housing Starts data will see light in the U.S., with analysts expecting continued strength at 1,125K. April Consumer Price Index data will also be released in the U.S. as will April’s Industrial Production data, where analysts see a 0.3% monthly gain.

Wednesday: Preliminary first quarter GDP data will be released in Japan. In the U.K. April labor market data will see light, namely Unemployment and Jobless Claims. The Eurozone’s aggregate CPI will also be released, as will the weekly MBA Mortgage Applications in the U.S. The Fed is due to release minutes from its April rate announcement.

Thursday: March Machine Orders data will be released in Japan, as will the All Industry Activity Index. In the U.S., the weekly Initial Jobless Claims will see light, followed by the Conference Board’s Leading Index.

Friday: April’s Consumer Price Index data will be released in Canada. April’s Existing Home Sales data will also be released in the U.S.
