Monday: October’s All Industry Activity Index will be released in Japan. December’s Advance Consumer Confidence Index will be released for the Eurozone, with analysts expecting it to remain at -5.9 points.

Tuesday: The third estimate for Gross Domestic Product in the U.S. will see light. A mild deterioration, to +1.9% Quarter over Quarter, is expected by analysts, though it’s not far from where the Fed sees the economy’s potential. November’s Existing Home Sales data will also see light in the U.S.

Wednesday: The final estimate for Gross Domestic Product in France will see light, currently at a 0.3% Quarter over Quarter gain. The same print will be released in the U.K., currently at +0.5%. In the U.S., the weekly MBA Mortgage Applications will see light. November’s Personal Income and Personal Spending data will also see light in the U.S., as will November’s preliminary Nov Durable Goods Orders data, Nov New Home Sales and the final estimate for December’ University of Michigan Consumer Sentiment Index.

Thursday: Many Global stock exchanges will close early or even be closed entirely for Christmas Eve. The Weekly Initial Jobless Claims will be released in the U.S.

Friday: Many global markets closed for Christmas. Labor market data will see light in Japan. Analysts expect the Jobless rate to climb 0.1%, to 3.2%. November’s National Consumer Price Index will see light, alongside the Tokyo Dec CPI.
