Houston, TX-based ConocoPhillips (COP – Free Report) is one of the largest exploration and production players in the world, based on proved reserves and production.

Earnings: Earnings per share excluding special items came in at 16 cents, surpassed the Zacks Consensus Estimate of 9 cents.

Revenue: Revenues of $7,195million surpassed the Zacks Consensus Estimate of $6,548million.  

Key Stats: Total production during the third-quarter 2017 came at 1,226 thousand barrels of oil equivalent per day (MBOE/D), down from 1,557 MBOE/D in the year ago quarter period. The total realized price of hydrocarbon was $37.10 per barrel of oil equivalent (BOE), against $29.78 per BOE in the July to September quarter of 2016.
